Ribbon & Pearls Bracelet DIY!

I found a tutorial for this beautiful ribbon and pearls bracelet over the weekend, and of course I had to share it with you guys!  I'm a sucker for pearls, and since this spices the traditional strand, I had to try it out!  The picture above is the one that I made (I've also been loving cranberry red this season, so you'll see that ribbon color a lot!), and I have the original tutorial if you keep reading...

I personally thought this tutorial was a little more confusing than the traditional, written out form, so I'll go through what I did, too.

Supplies:
  • Ribbon
  • Thread
  • Pearls
  • Sewing Needle
Directions:
  • Fold the ribbon in half, and push your threaded needle through where you would visualize the center of your pearl being.  Add the pearl to the needle, then fold up another length of ribbon, keeping in mind where the center of the pearl would hit.
  • Continue doing this until the bracelet fits around your wrist.
  • Tie off both ends, and to wear, simply make a big bow or a center knot!

Original tutorial is from here
