Aylor Hat Pattern ♥


I was making a Taylor Swift-inspired floppy hat, when a friend of mine saw it and asked me to make a beanie for her.  So, here it is: my "Aylor Hat" :)

Supplies
  • 1 sk Caron Simply Soft in Autumn Red
  • Size 8 circular needles
  • cable needle
Stitch Glossary
c4f: sl 2 sts to cn and hold to front, k2, then k2 from cn.
p4b: sl 2 sts to cn and hold to back, k2, then p2 from cn.
p4f: sl 2 sts to cn and hold to front, p2, then k2 from cn.

Directions
Cast on 88 sts, and begin knitting in the round.
Rounds 1-10: k1, p1 around.
Round 11: p2, inc1, p1, *k4, p4, inc1, p3*, and repeat instructions between the * until 4 sts left.  p4.
Round 12: p4, k4, p4 around.
Round 13: p4, c4f, p4 around.
Round 14: repeat round 12.
Round 15: p2, p4b, p4f, p2 around.
Round 16: p2, k2, p2 around.
Round 17: p4b, p4, p4f around.
Round 18: k2, p8, k2 around.
Round 19:c4f, p8 around.
Round 20: repeat round 18.
Round 21: repeat round 19.
Round 22: k2, p8, k2, around.
Round 23: p4f, p4, p4b around.
Round 24: p2, k2, p2 around.
Round 25: p2, p4f, pb4, p2 around.
Round 26: p4, k4, p4 around.
Round 27: p4, cb4, p4 around.
Round 28: p4, k4, p4 around.
Round 29: p2tog around
Round 30: p around.
Repeat rounds 29-30 once more, then cut yarn.  Using yarn needle, thread loose end through remaining sts, and weave in any loose ends.  Enjoy!
