Mirror Metallics by Essie: Featuring Penny Talk!

I don't think I've even seen chrome nail polish since I was probably in late middle school, so I was really excited when I happened upon Essie's Mirror Metallics collection!  I was tempted to get all of them, but decided that I would only get one.  The lucky polish was Penny Talk, which is a beautiful rose-gold color, that really does look metallic!  I'm so glad that I picked it up, you have no idea!

 I haven't had much time to test it out on my actual nails, though I did try putting it over Essie's Turqoise & Caicos, which I'd been wearing at the time, and holy cow, was that opaque!  I'm not used to Essie's polishes being that opaque, and it kind of caught me off guard in a good way.  I only needed one coat, and would have been good to go, and remember, I already had another polish color on!

If I get another of these polishes, I think I'll probably pick up Nothing Else Metals, which is a beautiful pale purple.  It's just a really cool color, and would be a fun, surprising color to wear.  Very different than what's usually out there, anyway!
