I mentioned this in my Flowered Scarf pattern already, but last September, my boyfriend, Cornelius, lost his brother in a car accident. This weekend, there is a benefit for him in my hometown, and the proceeds will go to Vineyard Ministries in Mazatlan, Mexico, which is an organization that he was involved in. There will be a silent auction, and I chose to crochet a hat and scarf set for the event.
I've already shared the scarf pattern with you, but I also thought that I would share the hat pattern for those of you who may be interested.
For those of you who may not be so inclined to make the hat itself, but would still like to own one, I am putting a few hats in different colors up in my Etsy store. At least 10% of the proceeds will be going towards Vineyard Ministries in Mazatlan in honor of Cornelius' brother.
