I'm sure there have already been a lot of posts on this manicure set already, but I'm absolutely in love with this idea! This velvet manicure set is like a blanket for your fingers, and I want to try it out so much!
Coming in at about $19.00 (from Sephora), it's definitely not the cheapest at-home manicure in the world, which makes me a little hesitant to purchase the set itself. However, you could easily create this manicure yourself, without the kit! All you need is:
- Some crushed velvet in your choice of color
- A base coat (preferably one that matches your velvet)
- and a small, soft paint brush to remove the excess velvet
All you do, is apply 1-2 coats of your base, and while the polish is still wet, evenly sprinkle on the crushed velvet. Wait for this to dry, then gently go back in with your paintbrush, and lightly wipe away the excess velvet! Easy!
