DIY Ribbon Bookmark!

I know this picture has been all over pinterest, and just about everyone has seen this project already, but back to school season is fast approaching, and even though I'm not going back to school, I have been reading like crazy so this seemed like an appropriate project to talk about!

Materials
  • Strips of ribbon
  • Ribbon clamps (you can find some here!)
  • Flat-nose pliers
  • Jump Rings
  • Old pieces of jewelry
Directions
  • Cut a strip of ribbon twice the length you want your bookmark to be, and fold in half.
  • Secure a clamp to both ends of the ribbon to prevent the ribbon from fraying.
  • Attach a jump ring to one end of the clamped ribbon, then add a piece of jewelry of your choice to the jump ring.  Close the jump ring, and you're finished!  You have a brand new bookmark that everyone will be envious of!
